I also like how Kobe said something like you know he’s doing something special when you have all these people trying to minimize what he’s doing.

Gotta compliment BigBum on the post, though. Those English lessons have finally paid off!

I haven't been on ClutchFans much recently, but every post that I have seen from you has been something bashing CP3. Do you have anything else to talk about?

This story was blown out of proportion.

Kobe says Harden is doing exactly what he needs to do for the time being.

And Harden says Kobe is right.

It's not that Kobe's statement was untrue, it's that it was unnecessary.

Harden has never claimed he could win a title for the Rockets with that high a usage rate, but it's exactly what the team needs to not sink in the standings while we're trying to get healthy and hopefully get trade deadline reinforcements.

The statement smacks of Kobe trying to say, "Yeah, he's playing at an historically great level, but so what?" And that's exactly the sort of thinking that has Giannis still the front-runner in the MVP race. Where were all these "So what, it doesn't win titles!" douchebags when Westbrook was making similar history 3 years ago?

MJ had Pippen in his prime.
Kobe had a super center Shaq in his prime.

Harden has old legs and hammy CP passed his prime...

    Obviously done on purpose.

    It's ESPN

If ESPN wanted to rig an election it would have an easier time than the Russians

Just look at how 99% of Clutchfans falls for their tactics

Both of them had to learn to trust the players around them to win those championships.

This is what I understand Kobe.
He is not talking about this season. He is talking about this style of play in the long run.
    Lets say GS is broken.

The Rockets will be less likely to win a championship WITHOUT James Harden dominating the ball.
The Rockets will be less likely to win a championship if you replaced him with any other player in NBA history and had them dominate the ball.

I mean I agree the Rockets almost certainly are not winning a championship as currently constructed, but it has absolutely **** all do with Harden dominating the ball or not.

It's absolutely true. We all know that if we march into the playoffs with only Harden, we won't get very far. Superstars can't win it alone and history has proven this again and again. What some aren't really getting however is that Harden is not doing this because he wants to but rather because he has to due to all our injuries. Once we get Capela and Ego back and CP3 shakes off his rust, we are going to have some amazing depth in Faried, Rivers, and Clark. I would also love to get House back as well and there is a chance of that happening depending on how things swing on the trade deadline.

    1. CP3
    2. Harden
    3. Ego
    4. Tucker
    5. Capela
Off the bench: Faried, Rivers, Clark

That's a team you can go to war with against GSW IMO and if we get Jordan via buyout, paint will be on lockdown.

Why did she ask him about the playoffs? James Harden's scoring run for the ages should be covered like Cal Ripken's streak or Tony Gwynn chasing Ted Williams. Instead ESPN has turned this into rolling hot take content. Talk about the step back as a travel, talk about the free throws, talk about if this will work in the playoffs, anything but the actual historic nature of what he's doing.
