I had an idea. There are a lot of great inside jokes and things we develop here at Clutchfans, but not all fans know what these jokes are or what are their origins. @Clutch has been equal parts innovator and historian compiling all of the Rockets history in one central place. But what about us? What about the memes? I for one, would love for some of these meme's or clips and phrases to live on, the "Sura faints" or "Milk Hair" or one of the many other inside jokes we share. I don't know what I would do with myself if "Sura faints" died with generation Z. So here, I'm proposing another forum dedicated 100% to the memes. Whose with me?! ... Ok, it isn't the greatest idea but I like it and I tried.
Yeah, this has been done many times, hence why I put 2016-17 in the title of the most recent. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/2016-17-garm-and-dish-memes-explained.281305/ I know we can find more meme history threads in both the GARM and Hangout, but keep in mind that the word “meme” is relatively new, so the older threads won’t provide a hit using that term.
I like the idea of a dedicated sub-forum on it though, it would be nice to have these kinds of threads in one place
See, I didn't even know that thread existed sir. Good work on you and others who do this... also, it goes back to my point that we should have a dedicated sub forum compiling all those works.
