Never mind - running through the trade checker it looks like there is no way we can trade Gordon plus our NGs / smailler contracts, including Capella, and take back Melo's salary. Ariza would also have to be part of the deal and that is of course not happening.

To make salaries match, we'd be giving up Gordon...and Ariza...and we're adding picks...and we take back broken pieces? That's crazy.

losing gordon for melo doesn't make us better. it would leave us with 3 scorers/playmakers. the warriors have like 5. keeping gordon and acquiring melo puts us really close to the warriors firepower.

Maybe we are getting more than Melo back? Melo and Lee for Gordon and Anderson works on checker. Gordon young to Bucks? Anderson going to Pistons ??

Well supposedly the best part of the Melo deal is getting Ryan Anderson deal off the books the cp3 and Melo opting out to take less to lure Lebron for the ultimate Banana Boat Ride down Buffalo Bayou!

Yep, this. If we don't get Melo before the camp, I am fine with the guys we have and just wait it out until the trade deadline to try to get Melo. I like our guys on our roster. But I hope we get Melo without giving up our important player(s).

Why would Melo want to go from a team that has no chance of winning a championship to another team that has no chance of winning a championship?

I'd love to keep Anderson honestly. He can take 30 ft 3s while we have 3 dudes that are nearly impossible to guard going to work.

Just don't know how it's possible.

i wouldnt say they have no chance. they would be an offensive juggernaut. they would be in position to have a chance if one of the warriors key players get injured. theres only a couple of teams that would chance in that scenario. every other team would still lose in 5 games even with a key player out.

    I don't think it'd be as important with Melo/harden/cp3.

Always space for 30 ft 3s
