    He gave a **** when he played for the Rox.

    That on-court attitude should be financially rewarded, not penalized by guilting the player into a discount.

    It's not a slight overpay - Ariza is a replacement level guy at this stage of his career. Obviously in the right scenario for a switch heavy team like 2017 Houston he's worth a bit more. For a non-contender he's just going ot use minutes that could go to a higher upsdie player.

    But in general, he's worth vet min, or thereabouts. He's getting roughly 400% of that
