    Pretty obvious that's what this whole wedding was about. I remember reading somewhere that she supposedly made a lot of money off the wedding (sponsors, rights to photos etc)

    When Paris Hilton still commands and gets $1M appearance money. Kardashian is currently the bigger "name". There's more money from selling exclusives/interviews/rights to the various media outlets.

    All parties involved set out to make some money off this farce of a wedding and it worked. Can't say that I blame them for doing it given that they knew how much money they were set to make.

    She was desperate to get married, since her 2 sisters are.

    Just a bad mistake. This Humphries guy seems like a total douche. Even his NBA scouting report makes him look like a douche.
