Interesting. I'm wondering why regular Iraqi citizens would kidnap two Turkish engineers working to build power lines (you know to bring electricity to iraqi citizens)? Why would they kidnap two French journalists (when France was against the intervention in Iraq)? Why would they demand changes in French domestic law (which has nothing to do with Iraqis, the US, or bombing)?
I COMPELTELY disagree with this btw. While he doesn't have the balls to come out and say it, I am more than positive he justifies his actions with the Christian faith.
Not a wife, but I am in a serious relationship. Why wouldn't I let her post her thoughts? She doesn't agree with some of my beliefs, but I respect that because she respects me... She actually says "You know, I don't know much about Islam, so I can't really judge" rather than attack my beliefs just because they seem wrong.

There is a very important quote in the Qura'an which states that you cannot instigate violence, and should try and bear and hardships until you have no choice. - First they were in Afghanistan, then Iraq... Let me fastforward and show you the plan your government has in place: Next it will be in Iran, then Syria, and finally N. Korea. You are destroying entire countries and in the process of trying to kill off TERRORISTS, you are hurting the citizens, the civilians as well. Isn't that exactly what 9/11 was about? They had a cause and a right, but the reason it was wrong was because innocent people died in the process. How's that different from what the U.S. is doing? Should I show you pictures of pre-war Iraq and Afganistan versus post-war?
Well, obviously there are too many Muslims who seem to interpret the "no choice" quite strangely, to say the least... "Oh, let me hijack a plane and kill thousands of people...I am not starting it...they left me no choice" Arrrgh...what cause and what right...
She says she's a Muslim, but she probably knows less about Islam than most non-Muslims. Doesn't pray (to be fair, neither do I), doesn't fast, drinks, smokes, loves to party, almost got a tattoo, doesn't cover, etc... But again, she admits that she can't justify it, and I can live with that. My ex actually prayed, didn't smoke (ever), didn't drink (ever), covered up, knew tons about Islam, hated partying, etc... Sometimes I wonder what the hell I'm doing.
No choice, as in, you can't bear the oppression anymore. Their cause was retaliation for Palestine, because the larger majority of Muslims believe Israel and America are one.

Those guys weren't even from Palestine. It really disturbs me that you always seem to want to turn around cause and effect here. These guys were lunatics, crazy people who killed for no reason. Nothing they did is justifiable. These guys were not oppressed. Several of them lived in Germany, and actually got money from the German government to finance their studies. Yeah, they were so oppressed, they had to go and kill thousands of innocent people. Retaliation for Palestine my ass.
All Muslims are brothers, doesn't matter ifhtye're not Palestinian. I do't know these people that did it personally. However, if they were oprressed their entire lives, and they really believe in their hearts, through whatever bull**** they were told, that what they did was right, then they will go to heaven along with all the people that unfortunately passed away with them. However, if they were kidding themselves, as you are indicating, then hell-fire awaits them.
