Yeah, it hasn't "caught on" w me, since I had this opinion in April. Beyond the pick's trade value, our horrific playoff display only served to hurt our chances at free agents. IMO.

Imagine the Hawks w Bazemore, saying "remember how we battled this year? Now let's show you some tape from the Rockets, game 4 of their playoffs..."

No cigar. Of course, I don't care for cigars. Might have enjoyed having Bazemore, though.

I wonder if Bazemore signing with the Hawks was contingent on them keeping Horford??

Out of Anderson, Gordon, and Bazemore; aren't we all glad the Rockets got the two players they got.

Uh, no. But I am glad TheGoodGuys didn't get toasted like the Nyets w/their two RFA signings. Oops, they may be armed and dangerous towards our lovable Lith, our imp't cog @4/5. DMo - - I want you back, bud. But, please, not at Crabbe's net offer....

Yes as injured as our guys are they both have had better careers than Bazemore, who is a career benchwarmer. He may not even start for Atlanta this season. Not saying we signed the best players in the world, but was not a fan of the Bazemore idea at all. Obviously, we would prefer Durant, Hortford and Conley. That said Bazemore is not a better player or fit for MDA system than the 2 guys we got.

Bazemore would've been a way better signing than Gordon, too bad he chosed to stay there.

I would've preferred Bazemore over Gordon.

While we do have better spacing, I feel like we won't be as fast as MDA wants.

When healthy, Gordon is twice the player Bazemore is.

The point he is making is that players of his ability level, like Tim Duncan, can ... what?

Other than being literally nothing like Tim Duncan, I would compare Kent Bazemore very favorably to Tim Duncan!

Sheesh, aren't we glad he rejected us??
We wanted to give him the max, didn't we? Not sure we would have still gotten Ryno, definitely not EG. Can't imagine what our team would look like had we signed him, though I do know he wouldn't be bringing much more than Ariza does to this team and he would have been getting paid 3 times what Trevor makes.
