I never saw the original Space Jam, so I watched it with my nephew the other day. I was stunned to see a scene with Keith Jones in it, playing the Phoenix Suns' trainer. Is this nugget common knowledge around here? Am I the last to know about it?
I just found this out too. I have only seen Space Jam clips. Why did Keith Jones agree to be the Suns's trainer? He should have insisted on playing the role of the Houston Rockets trainer.
From what I understand, the guy is pretty loved by a lot of people in the league. He's got some history behind him - I think he was the first black trainer or something in the league. The craziest thing I ever heard about him was that he drove through the LA riots back in the 90's to get some equipment for when he worked for the Clippers. LOL.
Was he with the Rockets yet? He started with the Rockets in the mid-90s which is around when Space Jam was released, too. I dunno.
Our VP of operations who doubles as head athletic trainer gets paid so little he has to pick up gig acting jobs, pitiful does Tilmans cheapness know no bounds?
He even has to work overtime as Team USA’s trainer too. Tilman really can’t pay the man a living wage
Keith Jones will be the Sixer’s trainer by eoy More suitable weather for his cardigan collection, too
