no dude they aren’t more talented but that’s not the point. The point was a comment made by a fan about the team being a better team because of the trade which has proven to be false. If a roster is missing players that filled positions and roles due to the trade, then the team is in now way overall better than the team prior to the trade. We traded a starting 3 that could shoot, drive and play great defense not to mention leadership and an infectious edge. We also traded a starter 2 that despite being inconsistent could drive and shoot from 3. Instead we have started players that have been career bench guys and not as good as Brooks and a SG/combo guard that can’t shoot more than 10 ft. The trade created a major imbalance on this roster. If they wanted to trade those 2 guys then at least get back a SG or combo guard that can start.
Again not the same personnel. GS dont run their offense thru a big that can’t shoot 3s. Their offense is based on off ball screens (split action) and flares to get shooters open. And their bigs can all shoot 3s. And this is why I keep saying Sengun is the issue. You all bi+ch so much about the way we play but this is due to our personnel. We run the offense thru through Sengun and Durant. And if Sengun was a stretch 5 our offense would look very different. If there were no Sengun our offense would look very different and if Amen could shoot our offense would look very different
