Nah you don’t get a pass. You said the trade makes the Rockets better. This means collectively they are a better team. This is not the case. You are the worst at analysis and evaluation when it comes to basketball and nothing you say should be trusted or accepted. Take the L dude.
As I said, it's over your head kiddo. No one expects the 65 IQ crowd to follow along in conversation... we just hope you don't poke your eye out with your fork when you're eating.
How did you not think he would get heavy minutes or be a main offensive hub? There’s literally no one on thus team that is a 3 tier threat (3, mid, paint). Plus no SG. This is what happens when you make a trade that creates a roster imbalance.
Incorrect. Collectively they aren’t more talented. If you have 4 total chairs in a dining set and give up 2 good chairs for 1 high quality made chair, now giving you a total of 3 chairs. would this make your set better?
Lol again kid, this goes over your head and I don't have the patience to keep spelling things out for you. I get it, you still have a crush on Jalen Green but you've embarrassed yourself enough on this issue.
It isn't the minutes, it is the ROLE - he is playing 100% the WRONG role on this team, he is not a SUPERSTAR player anymore, he is a superstar SCORER, but everything else is below average, passing, defense, running etc...he is a 37 year old man who has maintained scoring as his only skill, and instead of us using that skill correctly - IMe, because he is a dumbass, decided that KD could beat double teams and play like he was 30 again, he can't. He should be the secondary player, a guy at the end of the possession not the beginning and we should be running plays to get him open for shots, instead of asking him to create one for himself - which he can't do against quicker younger players especially when there are 2 of them. So, we got a coach who is too stupid or cowardly to stand up and do the right thing. And COACH KD...he is under contract, ****ing coach his ass up - and if he doesn't like it....SIT HIM.... He should be playing a Lebron role - JJ Reddick has done what is right for the team by defocusing on Lebron....we should be doing the same. They are a more talented team - they are just being used incorrectly. DD
Durant was never a go to full court ball handler or great passer. Also we don’t have a Luka. Be great if Amen could shoot more than 10 ft. But he can’t. Sengun is unreliable and inconsistent. As i said there literally is no one else on this team that can be the main focus on offense.
“They are a better team even if KD doesn’t play” -2025 @Bobbythegreat Changed to I meant to say “They are more talented” -2026 @Bobbythegreat Both false statements Also no one mentioned anything about Green or not supporting trading him yet once again his name comes out your mouth
They could be a great team, if the coach would use Durant correctly, and Sengun, Reed and Amen correctly. Ime is far and away the biggest problem he has nothing to help outside of play D, hit the glass (Which by the way is what Reddick exploited by leaking someone when we all went to the glass) - literally we are a STUPID and poorly coached team. DD
Really? Then who were the "2 good players" the Rockets lost that you were mentioning? The statements are not false, but again it's CLEARLY over your head due to you being more than one standard deviation below the mean IQ in the US. To this point I haven't enforced the policy on you because I like laughing at you, but it's time. Have fun.
Take the L. Lose that pride. JG wasn’t the main point of the post. Your stupidity was. Seek help for your obsession with JG. Cheers
I don't agree with DD often(ever?) BUT the more dependent we are on KD, the worse our team becomes. That much is 100% true. The goal here is not to turn our players into something they aren't - to your point Amen will never be Luka but that doesn't mean Amen can't be an effective player too. There was a time when Giannis was a versatile player with no shooting range(honestly he still is) but it's not like Milwaukee said "well, he's never going to shoot like Steph and Klay so he can't lead a team". They didn't have many other options so they figured out how to make it work by changing the offense and bringing in personnel to complement. They didn't go sign late career Kobe Bryant and handed the ball to him to be their primary scorer and watched Kobe chasing the same freaking Jordan scoring records that KD is chasing. THAT is the fatal mistake we made here - we gambled on aging star power as a way to push our timeline ahead and the team appears weaker for it because Stevo and Fred got hurt and KD appears to be showing signs of decline in all other parts of his game besides shooting. The problem with this team is it feels like KD is our offensive option 1A, 1B, and 2A - our coach and GM need to find useful ways to utilize KD, but we aren't setting ourselves up for the future(even the late season/post season) if we are leaning MORE into KD - it should be the opposite. We can play the "so and so can't do this or that" game all day but part of what differentiates the greats from also rans is that you focus on what our players CAN do - not try to make them something they aren't. That's what Pops did in San Antonio and why he had a looooonnnnggg list of "washed" guys who all of a sudden became key contributors to that team. Boris Diaw had way less skill than Sengun but was such a smart passer, he touched the ball often when he was in the game even despite the presence of better offensive players. In our system - we seem to think the people who should have the ball in their hands the most is the one who has the best chance of making a shot and the reality is - that bad assumption makes one dimensional teams that are easy to defend when the games are on the line. It's why LA could easily dispatch us down the stretch in both games and its why we are certain first round loss if we don't take steps to get more people involved in the offense ASAP. We lose if we play the "give the ball to Durant and let him work" game with anything more than 10 seconds left in the possession.
