This is such a tired topic. The tickets are sold. If you’ve never sat in the club section you have no frame of reference to comment. I have several times and it’s fun to watch the game at the bar for a while. Also, the food choices are good as well and is set up to enjoy in the club rather in your seat. We’ll never have a great, rowdy crowd. Just live with it. I’m a UT fan and we aren’t rowdy at DKR either. The Lakers have a late arriving crowd like at Toyota Center. Didn’t hurt them winning dozens of championships.
See now, if that's the real... it aint on the people - its on greedy ownership... $250 for a reg season game is out of line - maybe courtside - otherwise - naw....
Who gives a damn? Seriously. We have the best team in the NBA. That’s what matters. It’s not a competition about who has the best crowd. No use b****ing about it. Just accept it for what it is. Again, the Lakers have a similar crowd like we do. Nobody gave a crap about it when they were winning championships.
Said it before .. win something first!! I get it, James and Paul are expensive contracts and ohh so sexy players, but the ticket prices for lower bowl are stupid. The majority club seat setup is stupid and thus it looks like the building is empty. Tilman needs to find a way to move some lucky fans into those unused seats instead of allowing them to be vacant all game. Hey old fart in town for business .. if you aren't in your seat by 2nd quarter .. bye bye bye to your seat. We have awesome fans but TC is just a cash cow and not really an intimate bball venue.
Urban sprawl + Monday + spring break + no viable public transit to the burbs + jank ass Spurs team = weak ass crowd
Honestly we can hate Cuban all we want . But mavs had a similar issue prior to his ownership. He fixed it within a year
I agree. The only seats available to purchase for a single game in the East or West Clubhouse sections are located on the top row. All other rows are sold out to corporations and small businesses to entertain clients...this is normal for all NBA arenas. There's food and drinks in the clubhouses as well as TVs everywhere. There are also restrooms available to ONLY CLUBHOUSE ticketholders. Also, there is a direct passageway to the Red & White Bistro for all Clubhouse ticketholders. So many are still eating in the R&WB when the game begins. The tickets are some of the most expensive at the TC. Since businesses own the tickets, they usually use all unused tickets as a business write off instead of selling them at low prices on the resell website. The clubhouses and suites are very enjoyable to watch the games and very comfortable too. The food plus service provided by the TC caterers and serving staff is fantastic too.
The crowd in other stadiums is falsely elevated by humans who don't matter. In places like Dallas, OKC, Phoenix, and Utah it's literally just like 15,000 white kids with albinism who are dabbin' all over the place when they do the dance cam. I'll take one Wanda over those shitty people any day of the week.
