    Really confused at what kind of soda and juice this could be. I usually drink soda because it's a lot cheaper. A bottle of orange juice has a hefty price tag for a daily habit. So, if someone wants to give me orange juice for the same cost as a coke, I'll take the orange juice every time.

    But, if the only difference here is the carbonation, it doesn't sound like it's a nice bottle of Minute Maid orange juice we're talking about here. Maybe it's a can of fake juice, like Hawaiian Punch, and a carbonated version of it. In which case, it doesn't matter.

    i probably drink diet dr pepper more often than juice because its more readily available


    but i enjoy juice more than soda...especially orange/w mango

    Even if the juice has a ton of sugar in it, it's still not as bad for your teeth at least because it won't have the acids that sodas do.

    I don't think ANY soda is healthy (as you say in your OP), so I will take JUICE if given the two as options. :eek:

    That is what the enamel protecting toothpaste is for. If you drink sodas regularly, then you should use it. I've been drinking diet soda for years. I won't claim it's healthy at all...but it hasn't affected my teeth to my knowledge. I do mix up my toothpaste, though, and started using the enamel protection toothpaste to protect my enamel.
