    He's one of the best. Houston is a good/big market, but Chicago is a good career move.

    Astros games are going to be so hard to watch.

    pretty shocking that he'd do that as well. seemed like such a big stros fan.

    I guess I thought he would be since he was an Astro.

    But with his talent and the work he's put into his craft, he probably has his sights set on a bigger stage. Maybe he'll do national games eventually.

    I don't think many announcers would pass up the chance to work for the Cubs if given the chance. I'm a little surprised that the Cubs were interested in someone that has never played for the team.

    If the Astros are smart they will bring back Dierker to the booth. I think he was the best analyst they've ever had. I actually thought Bill Brown and Deshaies were rather bland.

    Never really cared much for JD on the Astros broadcasts, for some reason.

    I really liked Ashby on the radio broadcasts. Would love to see them bring him back for TV.
