We need to encourage Dana Brown to strut & swing his nuts.

Yea. Think give it another month. If Abreu doesn’t have a pulse by then Brown needs to slam his junk on Cranes table, Roll up a newspaper and whack Crane on the nose and tell him BAD DOG. tell him it is my lane. Stay out of it. Tell him if Maldanados OPS is still 97 points higher than Jose’s it is time to DFA him and eat the contract.

Yep. Time for Brown to drop his junk on Cranes desk, Tell him he is DFA'ing Abreu' then take him outside and make him:

Springer has the same number of postseason at bats as biggio and bagwell combined with 19 homeruns. The latter 2 guys have 4 combined homeruns. Stupid Braves pitching.

The key is to develop an artificial Bagwell like we did with Biggio.

The Two huge signings Abreu and Montero have been horrible through 1/4 of the season. Those two guys are weighing down the Astros and in spite of their horrible play, the Astros are still in contention.

But Yuli is dong heck of a good in Miami, and we have an Abreu who’s offensively worse than even catchers. Abreu is getting close to pitchers level offense, and that is bad!

Someone should try to put together all of the Astros HOF branding. Not sure I remember them all.

Looks like this thread was premature... Bagwell and Crane to oversee managerial search. FFS.

Bagwell’s influence on Crane is a nightmare. Let Brown do his thing and stay out of the way. I loved Bagwell as a player and if we didn’t have the best color guy in the business I would be all over him for the booth. Crane is really screwing the pooch with all these old geezers running the show (I’m way older than Bagwell by the way, but he has an old brain.

I have no idea where the rest of you went to school, or didn't, but I'd imagine that a Riceboy would be smarter than this, yet there's always the Inchan posts.

Bagwell is a ****ing disaster. Warmly welcome Brad Ausmus and his .478 career winning percentage as the new manager of your Houston Astros!

Has it ever worked where a franchise icon takes over decision making for a team?
