Actually, the Triple X album was their first record and was semi-live - the performances were touched up due to technical failures (i.e. the cymbal mikes didn't work). It's actually just titled Jane's Addiction but is called Triple X because that was the name of the record label. They released it about a year before Nothing's Shocking.
i went to lollapalooza. it was a pretty fun concert. jane's addiction was the worst band there. they sounded so awful, but maybe because they went after audioslave and tom morello left me standing there with my mouth open.
I got it since last monday and was able to hear it completely last evening for the first time. Well, it is not Ritual de ....... but it is also not bad. It is different. Some songs are quite good while others just pass by. Too early to judge after just two complete hearings. But boy, I guess they will sell some of them albums. PS: It works better while passing some dutchie around. ray
I guess Triple X is the label that put out that record. I guess it is a california based independent label. The record has s/t (janes a.) I guess.
