Now, since the trade, I've seen numerous comparisons of Harden to Joe Johnson. However, I think that's the wrong comparison to draw. Joe Johnson never took over 4th quarters of playoff games prior to joining the Hawks. He never proved he had a killer instinct either. With OKC, Harden did both. To me, Harden's game is very similar to a young Ginobili, and it has nothing to do with both being left handed. And Manu was most definitely a superstar in his prime. Both are crafty without the ball, can create for themselves and others, play the passing lanes on defense, draw fouls and make free throws. They can score 20 while handling point guard duties in big minutes. They also have that killer instinct/it factor to hit big shots down the stretch of games.
