Post ASB Jalen Green was an efficient 20+ ppg guy. What’s Jalen greens stat line this season? I got him at 23/4/3 on 59% TS.
Well Christian Wood was an issue last season as @Codman has insinuated. Player..............pts.....rebs....Ast...TOV....3PA....3P%.....FT% Jalen Green.....24.8....3.3.......2.8.....1.5.....8.8.....39.6.....78.9 https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask?q=jalen+green+stats+without+christian+wood+21/22 K Porter jr........25.0.....6.8......6.7.....2.6....10.1....39.6.....83.3 https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask?q=kevin+porter+jr.+stats+without+christian+wood+21/22 So that's about 10 to 12 games with playoff teams in the mix still fighting for position: 76ers Suns Heat Lakers (missed "play-in" by one game to Spurs) Mavs Spurs Min Nets Raps Hawks C Wood presented a big brother complex of sort that I feel the younger players will play better now that he is gone. Looser. Jalen Green: 25 pts / 3.8 Rebs / 4.2 Ast Kevin Porter: 20 pts / 5.5 Rebs / 7.8 Ast KPj had the opposing teams best wing defender on him more than any other player with exception of Trae Young, Doncic, Ja Morant, LeBron James.......this year Jalen Green gets that treatment. Keeps Jalen Green from getting 30 points per game....but the following season Jalen Green challenges 30 points per game (3rd season).
This is a tough one for me because I fully expect him to improve even from the post ASB but I also expect for him to see different defensive looks. I could see various double teams or earlier help on drives. So I am thinking there might be a little uphill battle early on but Green is a quick learner so I'm thinking 23/5 ast/3 rebs with an unexpected bump in assist from both new defensive looks and the addition of Smith. I see him being a proficient scorer at all 3 levels as well.
I'd love 23+ on good efficiency. I'd actually be happy with 20+ on good efficiency. 25+, and I'll do cartwheels even though I've never successfully done one.
Going way out on a limb here.. A very efficient 25/4 with 5 dimes. His confidence was off the charts down the stretch last yr. Have a feeling he's going to take it up a notch. With added strength and improved handles he's going to spend a load of time at the line. Defense will still be lacking, but that should come in time.
These stat guessing threads are the best. Some of the guesses in here have only been done by a handful of the best players ever and they weren’t 19 or 20 years old when they did it.
