Again, we are splitting hairs. Besides you just obvoiobvi moved goal posts. You called UPenn law merely "good" when it's obviously an elite prestigious law school.

That her parents had to elope like in the above statement.

That shes of Native American heritage which apparently she told her employers including UPenn and Harvard

The entire thing is a lie. By no metric is she of Native American heritage.

Cool then she should own up to it and stop doubling down. Maybe she could jsut say 'My mother’s a little insane so I have to take everything she says with a grain of salt.' Instead, she released this video today after receiving that DNA test result. This video is all based on a lie.

Let's call "peace". We disagree which is fine but I don't want the larger points to be lost in our pointing out what we view to be flaws in each other posts.

She got hired as a UPenn law professor only checking "white/Caucasian" in her application.

She changed her status after three years of being a professor at UPenn law so she did not reach her position as a law professor at an elite university by falsy claiming or believing to be Native American.

And how do you know she's lying about her parents eloping? Do you have any evidence?

The larger point is that she became a law professor at an elite law school from her own merits which was the entire intial point of the GOP attack during her senate campaign claiming that she wouldn't be a law professor at an elite school from her own individual merit .

Cool, so she lied. She is still lying in that above video claiming she has Native American heritage. She doesn't. She literally lied to you today about it.

yes. her DNA test. I just got it this morning. She isn't Native American

    1. She gained employment as a law professor at a prestigious institution from her own merits. So now we at least can admit you are shifting goal posts.

    2. You have no idea weather she was lying or not. Her parents told her and she believed them. There was no motivation in lying as she was already a part UPenn law faculty.

If a 150 lb person ate an apple, that apple would represent a larger percentage of their entire body than the portion of Elizabeth Warren's native American ancestry

Technically she didn’t lie. I think this is all silly, but she is 1/512th or whatever

1/32 to 1/1000th is the range.

She claims she has some native American heritage. That's all she doesn't claim she is part of a tribe or a full blooded native American.

. That is your view of the larger point. I get it. I just think that her claiming she was native American for years was a total crock and her thinking the DNA test results vindicate her calls into question her judgment.

We aren't going to agree. I respect your argument but I want to go to bed.

She claimed native American ancestry. And she claimed it all these years from her parents telling her, not some neferous plan to rise up the ranks.

I guess this will be the new battle cry rather than, “but the emails!”.

    Cool beans.

I hate myself for taking the bait.

She changed how she designated herself on the forms. So, whatever mystical belief she had in her apparently horribly ill-informed parents, didn't cause her to identify as minority for years. Then, when there was increasing pressure for schools to show diversity, for whatever reason, she became one.

It was not true. It was not consistent with her earlier forms (so, she clearly didn't identify as such whatever he parents may have said that was utterly wrong).

    It was a lie.

And this joke today compounded it.

You don't see it. Fine. Nothing I can say will change that.

(looked at your profile. If you were a Marine, thanks. Much respect. But we are going to have to disagree on this one).

    She claimed more than that.

"Harvard Law School in the 1990s touted Warren, then a professor in Cambridge, as being "Native American." They singled her out, Warren later acknowledged, because she had listed herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory. Critics note that she had not done that in her student applications and during her time as a teacher at the University of Texas."

    https://www.cnn.com/2016/06/29/politics/elizabeth-warren-native-american-pocahontas/index.html

"In 1984, she contributed five recipes to a Native American cookbook entitled “Pow Wow Chow: A Collection of Recipes From Families of the Five Civilized Tribes: Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Seminole.” In the book, which was edited by her cousin and unearthed during her 2012 campaign by the Boston Herald, her name is listed as “Elizabeth Warren, Cherokee.”

Warren also listed herself as a minority in a legal directory published by the Association of American Law Schools from 1986 to 1995. She’s never provided a clear answer on why she stopped self-identifying.

She was also listed as a Native American in federal forms filed by the law schools at Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania where she worked. And in 1996, as Harvard Law School was being criticized for lacking diversity, a spokesman for the law school told the Harvard Crimson that Warren was Native American."

    Multiple obvious lies.

You don't qualify as being a "Native American" or any other type of "minority" if you're 1/512th of something dude.

It doesn't matter an iota if she actually gained an advantage from claiming the minority status.

The problem is that she did claim the status. It is fundamentally wrong to claim a minority status if it isn't true. She doesn't qualify and she either 1) claimed a minority status or 2) let it be represented she was a minority without correcting it.

The most amazing part of it all is...look at EVERYTHING Trump did.

EVEN, EVEN if she lied, EVEN if you concede that....it's not even a drop in the bucket to anything Trump has done.

From talking about grabbing women's genitals, to paying off pornstars to keep quiet about his extramarital affairs, to tax evasion...

YET THIS...This is what conservatives get in all a fuss about. THIS.

    Trump is their Karl Malone.

As long as he's doing what they want, no matter how dirty, undignified, or indecent it may be, they'll fall in line and lap it up.

    It's all about the scoreboard.
