IMO this lineup needs to play the majority of the game
    Harden
    Brewer
    Ariza
    Smith
    Howard
Harden is already the defacto PG
jones cannot guard Blake at all he is once again proving to be a weak link against top tier PF's
I noticed last night Crawford ran the point alot...
crawford redick barnes blake &dj closed the game out
Terry cannot stay with redick or anyone for that matter
    we need to adjust

    Terry did fine on Reddick.
Clippers got wide open threes because we gave up again on transition defense and we crashed the paint too much when Griffin had the ball.

Harden was not paying any attention on defense. He played defense like he used to. No effort, no awareness.

You're only as good as your worse player.. defensively, our worse player was Harden. You will not be that good if he keeps having those lapses.

I was actually impressed by the way Terry chased around Reddick. He did fine there. The problem is Griffin making our pfs look like 12 year old girls and Harden playing like the goal of the season was to win MVP.

sorry but watching brewer drive to the basket uncontrolled and turnoving the ball like hotcakes is not something I want to see in the starting lineup as much as i don't like terry starting.

im not saying this should be starting 5 but this group should play more
for defensive purposes you could put brewer to chase reddick around & Ariza on crawford

Our transition D or horrible. We kept trying to pick up the dribbling early and strip the ball or stop them (sometime we did), but that is not good transition D.

It's always best to get back. We failed to do that over and over.

    But that is fixable.

Turnovers is what killed the Rox..... Cut the turnovers down by 7 or 8 less and the Rox would have won.

I tend to agree. Brewer is awesome, but he's gotta know when to push it and when to just control the possession.

Of course...nobody on our team values possessions, so I can't really single him out.

Since Harden is the only back to the basket post player besides Howard and Capela (comes off the bench) It's best to move up to play a Larry Johnson type of 4 and let Prigioni start the game. Jones doesn't have a post game anyways.

    Howard
    Harden
    Ariza
    Terry
    Prigioni.

It will work and there will be subs throughout the game to take the load off of Harden. This line up will open up Howard's game for more lobs.

Harden can not be trusted with the ball - he is just too loose with it.

Smoove couldn't check Blake either, especially in the post.

honestly the only guy that looks like blake didn't figure out was Capela.

albeit that was only for few moments Capela was even out there.

I don't know why people think we have a choice. Dorsey & Dwight or Capela & Dwight. Jones is killing us out there. Its not like Jones has the capability to pick it up next game or something. He has consistently been demolished by elite PFs in the playoffs. The dude could somewhat check Dirk because Dirk is washed up now. We either need pure strength (Dorsey) or good lateral footwork and length (Capela) if we want to at least CONTAIN Griffin.

After two straight seasons of elite PFs attacking Jones in the playoffs we need more of an answer than throwing a rook or a 11th man into the starting rotation.

Maybe McHale has a eureka moment and devises a team defensive scheme that can
    a) prevent Griffin from plowing Jones every possession and
    b) do (a) without giving up wide open threes on double teams.

    I MISS D-MO.

People saying Smith needs to play more or whatever did not watch that game. The guy was a ****ing selfish prick out there. Brewer was also not giving us much and he needs to get his freaking body checked because something wrong with his upper and lower body allignment. Those legs are all over the place, turning it over, just out of control, when he goes to the basket he loses balance and makes some eratic passes.
