Rockets are going to pay for it. Look at all the games the Rockets have now. December is an especially dense month.
The Wizards game on the 29th, the night after playing in Boston, looks dangerous. I'm issuing an UPSET ALERT

yeah any team with a strong back court could spell trouble, wizards and celtics are two worry games because they have some of the best back court, and unlike blazers their back court plays elite defense
Celtics play Houston on the second night of a B2B in Charlotte the night before - the Celtics should be happy with a split.
If Rockets got Kahwi, it changes the whole course of history. The ripple effects turn into Tsunamis. With Harden and Kahwi,That lineup looks a lot different. There needs to be a what if video about this.
Instead of being talked about as a pretend MVP candidate for alternative cool guys, Kashi would be deemed a slightly better version of Trevor Ariza.

I am not worried about the Celtics game at all. In the last 15 games, their defense rating is only 18th in the league(Rockets No.3 behind Raptors and Warriors). I think they're only the 3rd best team in the east without Haywood, Raptors and Cavs are clearly better than them. Raptors is underrated, their net rating in the last 15 games is the second in the league, just behind Rockets.
If the Rockets drafted Kawhi and if he became the same player on the Rockets (people take for granted that players would develop the same no matter what team or system they're in but it simply isn't true), then it's likely the Rockets path would have been completely changed. They may not have even been able to acquire Harden or Chris Paul, but maybe another big name free agent joins them or they pulled off another trade. It's very unlikely things would have unfolded exactly the same way if we drafted Kawhi instead of Marcus Morris.
And CLE had both the Irving pick that year and the #4 pick (took Tristan), passing on Klay and Kashi to pick for need. What idiots. And the following year, they had another #1 pick (Anthony Bennet) when Giannis was available. They could have Irving Kashi (or Klay) Lebron Love Giannis am I doing this right?
Further proof that the NBA wasn't a real, major sports league in the 50s and 60s, so who cares about all those stats. Paul is the first player to start and win his first 14 games with a new team since starters were first indicated on box scores (1970-71), according to Elias Sports Bureau research. Overall, the Rockets have outscored opponents by 16.7 points per 100 possessions with Paul on the floor this season. -- Michael Schwartz lulz, one of the biggest arguments between fans of the same team is on WHO SHOULD FREAKING START. What kind of serious sport doesn't get followed enough for sports pages to leave out who freaking started the game in the boxscore. I mean, are you telling me the NCAAs boxscores failed to as well, and didn't list who started as the top 5 players in the list (like MLB), that they listed alphabetically instead, or sumpin more stupid like Height or Number.
