because your criticisms for posting style (not content) are always focused on the conservative members, with none (at least public) directed at the more liberal members. you may claim to be "moderate" or even-handed; but your public posts give the game away. and apologies in advance if i'm lumping you in with Jeff, who shows up on occasion, and direct his criticisms exclusively at one side. I tend to think of you both as "mods", but recognize there may be some room for individuality in that function. i just don't see it.

lol yeah my issue with some of the liberals on here is that they offer no opinions themselves, they are full time "pile-oners". Extreme trolling if you ask me. Come in, state your opinion, defend yourself and argue like a man. Jumping in and tossing out the absurd or just piling on because somebody posted a conservative opinion is whack. But I don't let them get to me -- I'm too good for that. I just keep dominating and let the chips fall where they may.
1) If conservatives would post with the sanity that used to be the mark of conservative posters in the early days of this forum, they wouldnt get dogpiled by the other side. It is allowed because thats what this forum is for, you guys can mouth off to each other all the time without needing us to babysit you. CometsWin was on the money as far as the amount of conservative posters here prior to 911. 2) I AM NOT charged with the moderation of this forum, I speak up with warnings when someone is pushing the limits, but I have absolutely zero power in this forum. I can and will make sure Clutch is aware of things that need attention, but it is his call when and if to act. 3) Stand the middle or right or left on what I wrote???? I think forums are generally populated by people capable of reading/writing, so probably safe to bet they have atleast some education, thus liberal leaning.

I can think for myself nad I keep track with whats going on in the world of politics and when I see you guys posting what you post, I have not one ounce of pity for the responses you get here. While I agree the conservative posters are more notorious for just attacking posters with no basis of argument, the left isn't completely innocent. Look a few threads down for, "People Hate Obama Because He's Black." I have tried to stop visiting the DD because the threads are just awful. Sometimes I find fascinating articles, and I do respect the views of some posters even if they differ from me. There are some smart posters on this board, on both ends of the spectrum, too bad most of the posters (including myself at times) start arguments with nothing to base them off of.
key difference: conservatives attack politicians; liberals attack conservative posters. the latter does nothing to foster discussion.
