    I'm
Ashamed right now that citizens of USA would even sude with Hamas. Isreal is our ally for Pete sake what happened to loyalty?. Let me remind you of something. The citizens of gaza are the same people who burned our flags after. 9/11 also the same people who voted on Hamas. Also how can you support Hamas an extremist group. People say oh we isreal is targeting schools. Where do you think those middles being tired from Hamas are headed in isreal. People feel no pity for isreal because no one is dying?. Excuse isreal fir caring for they're citizens with a middle defense system. Idk how people make isreal so bad. A nation that has freedom and cares about the protection of it's people is evil. Also people saying give isreal back to palenstine, why?. They can't even run they're crap hole countries and groups like Isis and Hamas are chaotic and a parasite. Idk logic just seems out of the question. I just don't understand how people can actually support Hamas or palenstine. They have very evil people they're the same people who strike our country.

I wonder what would have happened if Israel and Hamas had worked together to find the kidnappers instead of immediately hurling rockets and bombs at each other.

That's like the police working with Charles Manson to find Charles Manson. Great logic!

glynch, I would still like to hear your response as to why that article (or the other 100 of them out there) are not truthful when they admitted to it themselves...

regardless of your position on the israel/palestine conflict, you can't argue that they did not capture/kill those 3 kids when they admitted to doing so.

anyways, there is a "permanent" cease-fire in place. Hopefully that lasts long enough and peace evolves out of this ****ty situation

Any ceasefire Hamas agrees to is only tactical. All they will try to do is use it to get more and better weapons.

Probably true, at least until they are actually allowed to have some chance of sustainability which Israel has no desire for the people of Gaza to have.

Israel fully retreated from Gaza. In return, they got rockets fired on them.

Well as most who think about it know "fully retreat" is not exactly true. Israel still occupies Gaza or I guess you could say maintained an active state of war.

Blockading a "state" is an act of war. Maintaining a near total blockade, including of much food and medicine by air land and sea is considered an act of war.

The US military was stunned by the indiscriminate fire unleashed by the Israeli military on a neighborhood in Gaza. Secretary Kerry commented negatively on it after our military gave him the details.
    ***********
when a live microphone at Fox News caught U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry commenting sarcastically on Israel’s military action. “It’s a hell of a pinpoint operation,” Kerry said. “It’s a hell of a pinpoint operation.”

“The only possible reason for doing that is to kill a lot of people in as short a period of time as possible,” said the senior U.S. military officer. “It’s not mowing the lawn,” he added, referring to a popular IDF term for periodic military operations against Hamas in Gaza. “It’s removing the topsoil.”

“Holy bejeezus,” exclaimed retired Lt. Gen. Robert Gard when told the numbers of artillery pieces and rounds fired during the July 21 action. “That rate of fire over that period of time is astonishing. If the figures are even half right, Israel’s response was absolutely disproportionate.” A West Point graduate who is a veteran of two wars and is the chairman of the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation in Washington, D.C., he added that even if Israeli artillery units fired guided munitions, it would have made little difference

“Listen, we know what it’s like to kill civilians in war,” said the senior U.S. officer. “Hell, we even put it on the front pages. We call it collateral damage. We absolutely try to minimize it, because we know it turns people against you. Killing civilians is a sure prescription for defeat. But that’s not what the IDF did in Shujaiya on July 21. Human shields? C’mon, just own up to it.”

Nope. They never have. Israel still controls the most fertile lands of the Gaza and moved all Palestinian farmers from that land and don't allow them to use it.

Israel has done that from the beginning, and never once allowed Palestinians farmers back on that land.

Well of course they do, most of Gaza is Israeli land, only the strip was given to the Palestinians....they shouldn't complain about land that isn't theirs.

As to the land being fertile, perhaps if they spent their precious resources on farming tech instead of on rockets and guns, the land would be in better shape.
