    Quick correction on my little vignette: I thought it was in Paris, but my wife tells me our friend was actually mugged in Chicago. I forget what the crime was that befell her in Paris.

    damn straight. We have a very simple rule... if we roll up somewhere (drive thru, 7-11, whatever) and you get that feeling... leave. God gave you intuition for a reason, don't fight it!
