I see. That said I've seen opinions like that cartoon, not made for satire, expressed by a lot of people.
In almost all of these cases the statute of limitations has passed. Cosby might be subject to civil suits but in general this is more about the hit to his reputation than any legal penalties.

This is the most massive problem with these allegations No rape kits No Paper Trails for Most It is literally a He Said She Said . . .. 20+ years removed from the 'crime' Trust . . . . I believe the women . . well most of them but I can see how one could not . . . . I don't like selective justice. Bill Cosby looks like he has done some wrong to women in the past and is suffering a deserved hit to his reputation. However, there are many more in Hollywood like him. If we really wanted some social justice, we should get them all, not just selectively pick one guy out. I mean, who gets to decide which of one of a 100 equally guilty guys gets picked out? This is sort of like when an official in China gets brought up on corruption charges...it's usually something political, personal or a power play.
You're oversimplifying. He was criticizing a specific group of women for their actions and I found his criticism to be extremely unfair. It's easy to tell someone to do a difficult thing and criticize them for failing to do it. Exercise a little empathy and put yourself in the victims' shoes before shaking your finger and dictating that their actions were wrong. And frankly, I DO believe you should abstain from criticizing a rape victim (about something related to the rape) if you've never been raped or if you've never been trained to help/treat a rape victim.
Back then there was no street cred or racial context to it, much more popular and mainstream before admen learned how to promote light beer.
