    It depends upon WHICH Yao we get.....a healthy one...YES !!

    One that is a 25mpg high end role player - maybe

    One whose injury lingers - no.

    You might be right. But, before we were still a playoff team even when Yao was injured and out.

    A lottery team + Yao = true contender ???

    The biggest question is, will Yao last through 1 season from now on. Forget contenders, no point if Yao can't make it.
