I thought Kobe still had it, but he has struggled the last couple months and harden is taking it to another level. I thought he would be the best in the next three years, but after the last month or so I think we can say he is the best. He is 1st among shooting guards in Value added and Estimated wins added.

    Kobe either shoots or passes.

    Harden can shoot AND PASS.

    Harden > Kobe.

It's getting harder and harder to argue against it.

Wade has Lebron and Bosh to help. Kobe has Dwight, Nash and Pau to help. Harden has Lin, Parsons, and Asik.

Not that supporting cast is everything, but Harden is doing more with less, and he's just as efficient as Wade and Kobe.

I'm trying not to be a homer and say yes, but I can't find any real reason why he isn't.

He needs to improve on the defensive end to be considered the best. Hope he does tho

Harden has taken over games and shown to play BETTER under pressure. Best of all, he's done this while being godly efficient from the field. There's no doubt, especially after this game, that Harden is the best shooting guard in the NBA.

Wade has the best player in the league next to him, and he still can't get to the basket as easy as Harden.

Kobe... Is killing a franchise right now.

If Kobe is 1, Harden is 1B...bc Harden is really growing into his role as being a scorer...

Dejavu. I'm sure we've had this exact same thread before, I'm curious to see the difference in the results are. My vote: yes. For playoffs wade and Bryant are probably better

Durant is an SF though, and he is still better than harden. He was outplayed tonight but still got a triple double

It's become more debatable as to who is the best, I still think Kobe and Wade are above Harden, but it's as close as it can get. I think come playoff time we can officially say

    1a. Wade
    1b. Harden
    2. Kobe(won't make playoffs)

But IMO Harden will take the title of Best SG starting next season, and push Durant, Lebron, Uncle Drew, and CP3 as best player in the league

oh and for the people thinkin we are homers, and thinking this. No we aren't look at what Harden is doing yes look! He for a quick example, just tonight, against his old team scored 46 on 19 shots made 14, held his TOs down. He has struggled with that area, but he is a down hill player. Some of the TOs have been no foul calls. A dude that scores 26 plus and shoots a low volume of shots
