We can’t keep doing the same thing and act like it’s going to workout. The Rockets are at a crossroad is MDA the right person to pull us through? We are going to need to develop our youth and stick with them as they grow. Our journey is not going to be pretty and leadership is going to be essential in the process. Most importantly, playing Harden crazy minuets is not the answer for Harden, the Rockets, or the fans because he will get injured or quit on the team. He is human and can only do so much. Please don’t put him in a no win situation. We need a coach more than ever, now. Mike are you our answer?

Every time we lose these horrible threads start popping up left and right. Please tell us the coach that would be replacing D’antoni...

people always talking about fire X, Y, and Z while providing absolutely zero alternatives...

No , Dan Tony has done a fine job overall in his time here , this year isn't on him , its on Tillman and the luxury tax.

The fact that Ariza was told prior to free agency that he probably wouldn't be back speaks volumes. That move was nothing but a tax savings. Keeping him cost you no assets and cap space wasn't an issue with bird rights. Same goes for Luc - it was just cap space & luxury tax (Not that he is playing well this season but that's not the point) , then you have the fact that they didn't spend the MLE …. another tax saving step.

All this FAIL is on Tilman Fart-tita.

At a bare minimum , this team should have kept Ariza and used the MLE …. if Tilfart was serious about winning …. but here we are talking about trading Brandon Knight and a first round pick to further escape the tax.

Put the blame where it belongs - Morey and Mike Dan & Tony are handcuffed by a cheap ass owner.

I was in agreement the moment they let Ariza when they had nothing at their disposal besides vet min and MLE (still unspent) to replace him.

Could see the writing on the wall from the get go.

    Tilfart sux.

The coach is not the problem, and neither is Chris Paul. The Rockets problem is they have a weak bench, and they need an experience perimeter defender. They should of never let go of Ariza. Morey is the real problem for not creating a strong roster for this team who had the best record last year, and went to the West finals.

Naw. Just need to refresh the supporting cast. We are two good wings or 4’s away from being a 60 win team, and of course this teams top contender status relies on sucking two more healthy years out of CP3. Which was the gamble we knew we were signing up for.

Also might have been a miscalculation to not include PJ Tucker in trade scenarios with Minnesota for Butler. He’s important as hell but he’s not as important as long wing defenders. It’s like when we revelled at Chuck Hayes’ brilliance but it was obvious we still needed a real full time center.

And no I’m not crying over losing Ariza. His regulars season play last year was overrated. Morey can do better. And much better than freakin Ennis.

Yeah, it's time to fire the guy who just a few months ago got us closer to an NBA title than we've been in over 20 years.

No point in sticking with a loser like that.

He just didn't have the assets to make that happen …. not in free agency , not in trade. That left a BIG hole in the roster.

    Now what ?!

You're right. MDA has done a sh1tty job developing Capela. We need someone who can do more with Capela and develop our last 2nd rounder left, and our two undrafted players.

That, and Caboclo is the next Giannis, and with a 3.
