Is it me or are teenage girls EXTREMELY inappropriate nowadays?

It's first week of August, I've already sent 4 girls home this summer for inappropriate clothing. Shorts so high I'm shocked they dont get hernias, tight shirts without bras, etc. They're like only 16 or 17. Most of them get dropped off at work by their parents.

WTH is wrong with the parents. Who lets their kid out of the house dressed in clothing that would make a Kardashian blush, and secondly it's for work.

Is this a generational thing? When I was a teen, grunge was in, so ya'll know how the girls dressed. When the hell did parents let their girls dress like Nicki Minaj videos?

I may have to start getting my Chinese food at your place.

Incidentally, a few months ago I stopped at a convenience store to get something and waited in line behind a man and a chick, probably 18 or 19, who was at the counter buying something. She had the short shorts and a tank top with her boobs busting out. Everyone couldn't help but stare at this chick. I felt terrible for her, embarrased for her. When she walked out we all laughed hysterically, didnt say anything, just looked at each other and laughed. In retrospect I wish I had pulled her aside and gave her a talking to, she needed one.

Main part of my complaining is that when I send them home, I have to get someone else to cover the shift. It's just stupid, wear a damn bra when you wear a tight t shirt.

hotballa, write up a dress code in your presumably non-existent employee manual.

Comets, that girl knew exactly what she was wearing and the reaction she'd get. "Give her a talking to"? Unless that's a euphamism I'm unaware of you'd be wasting your time.

This is pretty much the exact outfit of the last girl that I sent home. Seriously, how do you let your kid goto a frigging job (that's not a strip joint) dressed like this.

Perhaps and that is really sad. She looked completely ridiculous and everyone left in the store laughed about it for a good twenty seconds.

This is what one of the girls wore 2 months ago. Keep in mind she came to work right after her last class in HIGH SCHOOL. I sent her home after a good 2 seconds.

Oh ok good. Don't need to worry about the FBI.

Anyway, as someone who has a daughter on the way, I hope this style goes out in 18 years or so.

I have a son. Used to want a daughter because I thought they'd be more responsible...The last few years have changed my mind

What's the problem? These chicks should be good for business.

I thought you only hired Mexicans... So Mexicans and high school girls compose your workforce?

Maybe you'd get classier employees if you paid a living wage.

women walk around in public in their yoga tights these days. maybe even as little as 10 years ago they'd pull over a t-shirt and trackpants/shorts.

I think you should keep them. 16 year boys are much more trouble.
