We can overreact in the first game but come playoff time this gsw is who everyone is measuring themselves too, I’m not worried about Paul having a bad game against them now because he’s cp3.

But seriously what can chapels offer other than be a bad mismatch? We should of involved him in the melo deal. Gsw doesn’t have a Deandre Jordan and look at what they do, I’ll be waiting for him to prove otherwise but doubt it

They have two bigs that can play big.

And they have a small ball five that was the DPOY.

I’m ok moving Capela... but he’ll be useful against a vast majority of the teams in the league. The key is being able to play small without him with a deep bench

What’s the point ? This summer we prepared for gsw supposedly, what good does beating regular season teams help? Melo would of made everybody else’s life easier by drawing defenders.

Morey didn’t really go all in...

You have to play in the regular season to win and make the playoffs and have easy early round matchups. Lol.

You guys out here pretending like the Rockets are WCF guarantee and just need to get past that hump. They couldn’t even beat SAS undermanned last year.

Clearly they were planning on adding Melo.

But trade Capela for him? Or if planning on trading Capela could you get more?

Maybe green is just that good at defense. Looked a lot better when green was gone.

His final statline was pretty legit

I’m willing to make a big wager the rockets with Harden and company can make the playoffs without capela.

We are a playoff team, all these moves you saw this offseason we’re to try and match somewhat gs talent. They are the goal, they are the target.

Capela can't play against the Warriors. The +/- says it all. We cannot afford to invest a bunch of money on a guy who isn't effective against our #1 obstacle in the West. I watched him tonight and saw a completely replaceable center. I'd rather continue the trend of going small with centers, though if DeMarcus Cousins really does become available, Morey has to take the gamble on stars like that.

This truth nobody will admit.we low the offer and let Melo slip through our fingers. He would have been a unstoppable third ( maybe second honesty) option.

My thoughts on capela were, I think he started out nervous and a bit shocked because warriors were torching but he actually played really well towards the end.

I don't know why people still hate on DMC... since he's gone from the totally dysfunctional Sac Queens he's been quiet despite being in another (tho less) dysfuntional Franchise. I think that he's just a pretty competitive player who was fed up with the front office of his team. (fking up like 5 lottery picks since he got there).
I think he would work great here, especially with a guy like CP3 who's respected around the NBA and can get into your face.
