I am so scared that we will 2-3 games in a row and let Orlando or Cleveland get a bottom 3 seed. The possibility of not getting a top 4 pick weighs on me. I know it shouldn't but it does.
The pick has a 52% chance at most. At 52% you better prepare equally for both eventualities. You have no control over it. Imagine yourself the day after we don't get a top 4 pick. You'll be fine, it won't matter in your life that the Rockets compete a year later than you expected.
We can just throw on Avery Bradley at PG to help him "get back in shape" during the 4th quarter if required
Not really. You can influence it, but if the players just decide to win there's nothing anyone can do. A benching of that nature/stature would draw attention from the league and then we get Hinkied. Everything that can be done has been done. We have an elite tank commander in Wall who can both destabilize the on court production and off court morale. We just need him to be available more often, it's hard to lose without him.
Bad timing. OP would fare better had we just won a game. Why worry about a win streak when we’re struggling to get a single win...
If we don’t get top 4, our pick is swapped. The one we get back may still be a lottery pick, but a very late one at best. So it’ll be close to 0
No. The refs and the league know we’re tanking hard. Just watch all the no-calls! Best year to tank cause ain’t no one watching NBA basketball... all this manufactured rivalry is stupid. No one literally gives a crap. If Brooklyn wins the championship - I guarantee they’re not having a parade. Ain’t no one doing ****. Or maybe like 10 people show up. There’s gonna be a big add asterisk on 2020 and 2021 championships due to covid.
I was gonna say, Silas gets a secret bonus, lifetime coupons at any Fertitt restaurant, if he helps us keep our pick. You think I'm bullsh**tin'?
