Is anyone else having problems with pop up adds?

    Thanks, I'll try this one. I've found using desktop mode (as suggested by another user in feedback) seems to fix the issue with Chrome pop-ups on mobile for the site.

    I've only had it happen a few times in the last couple weeks though there have been times in the past when the mobile site has been unusable for me and I had to go to desktop.

    Aaaand it JUST happened again. You know, ever since the new BBS platform went live it's been a pretty terrible UX. I rarely visit this site anymore primarily because of how terribly slow the navigation is. It's too bad really.

    Download "ad block plus" from the extension store on chrome/firefox or from the app store/ play store on your phones and it will all go away. I haven't seen ads on my iphone anymore.

    Happens all the time on google chrome on my phone. Just happened to me in this thread...lol. Same amazon ish. Cant complain about a site this badass being free though i guess...is what it is.

    No problem with pop-up ads. Just sometimes a problem with pop-up on other things.

    These Amazon gift card pop-up ads are fake news, and should be banned if Clutch is consistent. :cool:

    But old site was so tiny on phones. You have to zoom in and pan 20 times to read anything

    I complained about this in the last thread on this topic, unfortunately the issue is still persistent on Chrome browser on Android. Gonna try using the Samsung internet browser since I can download ad block for that.
