Unfortunately the best living actor to portray Bruce Lee is Donnie Yen. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uN6dhWgY8qc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The computer generated idea might've come from this video which was getting some attention on martial arts and HK movie sites <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/cD8y5nnBu8I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Other than that Ip Man lived in Foshan, fled to Hong Kong during the war and taught Bruce Lee not really.
Ip Man 2 story was pretty strained, which this one will probably be, but had some good fights. There have a also been a couple of Ip Man movies made without Donnie Yen. Now those are really crap.
On the subject of great movie fights this is one of the best. From Flash Point. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/buITXcldEcY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I can't believe you guys didn't like Ip Man 2??? It didn't have that WW2 Progaganda message against the Japanese and it was a straight rip off version of Rocky IV, Hong Kong edition. Donnie Yen vs Mike Tyson, this is going to be better Than The Raid movies, right Jontro??
He's coming for you Ipa-Man!!! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mIUHdK7Leok" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm more of a Riddick Bowe kind of guy but this will do! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zgxI3ko6Q0U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I dunno breh... Ip Man 2 wasn't anywhere as good as the first. And the Raid movies were a bit overrated IMO . If it wasn't for the fact that I've been to most of the places where they shot the Raid, I wouldn't be as excited about it.
I agree about Ip Man 2 but as far as action movies go, it does not get much better than The Raid 2. Movies I used to think were intense and violent aren't the same to me anymore after seeing Raid 2.
There's already been a fake Bruce Lee on screen. In Game of Death, they had some guy walk around with big, dark sunglasses to finish Bruce Lee's scenes. Of course there was the one scene where they just pasted a photo of Bruce Lee onto the print.
