Sucks for McHugh but Urquidy could be work well as a reliever.

If things occur as expected, Harris will be the lone survivor from our bullpen 2017 playoff roster.

Unless Valdez flames out as a starter and the need Urquidy in the rotation.

A couple of these young guys have got to step up this month.

Rondon is a virtual lock for the playoff roster at this point. Devo probably isn’t on track to make the playoff roster but he will likely be on the team to start next season.

    My expected playoff bullpen:
    Osuna
    Pressly
    Harris
    Smith
    James
    Rondon
2 of: Biagini, Devo, Peacock, Sanchez, Urquidy, Valdez

They would take Framber, as a lefty, over Rondon.

Nope. Both Luhnow and Hinch have said many times they don’t care about having a lefty in the pen because Smith and Harris can serve the typical loogy role.

That’s the response when they don’t have a viable lefty option.

Pen is going to be our Achilles in the playoffs now. We have a hell of a starting rotation. But the pen is in shambles. No bueno.

Maybe. I tend to think Astros will win most games they have the lead before relievers come in.

Time to see if he's himself, or if he's more LMJ 2018 postseason (post UCL tear, but still able to give some valuable innings/appearances before eventual surgery).

    No doubt.
    Really liked that guy.
Also, when he doesn’t get paid by anyone it will be a real indictment of the system that a guy who was as good as he was for a lot of years never got a decent check (decent sports wise).

Not yet. Just hope his neck is ok, mild concussion is the best outlook.
