    Isn't Houston more crowded than Austin? Central Austin is bad, but I'm sure downtown Houston is worse.

    The thing about Austin is, there is traffic EVERYWHERE!! I-35, mopac, 360, anderson mill. You would think if you escaped central Austin that it wouldn't be that bad. But, it can't be worse than Houston.

    Not meaning any disrespect, and probably it was wrong to say that since I have never been there. However, my statement was based on my (prejudiced) perception that this region has unfortunately had more wars and diseases and a lower overall standard of living than most other regions in the world. That being said, I would like to visit these countries and educate myself at some point in the future.
