LOL, Phoenix shot 57.3% from the field. If that is their "C" game, I wonder what their A game is

Think about the inconsistency of the Rockets.
Think about the fxxx high FG rate of the Suns.
It is all about the consistency. Only when the Rockets can maintain its energy for more than 4 games...

even with a close to perfect game, we only won by 3. and that is with us getting 2nd choice points, playoffs that would never happen. But our defense needs to improve, we can't hold Nash. With tmac on the floor you never know.

I do not agree with that. This is not the best game they still shot 57% we need to take control more on the board and defend the pick and roll to the perfect. If the we play at the best we should win more than this but we was off guard for few minutes and let them fight back in. We still need that killer instinc to finish the game huge.

Suns played a very good game too. Their shots were falling just as ours. That's why it was a close game. The only things concern me were:

When we had the chance to control the tempo and pull away, we didn't slow down but rush to shoot. There were several good chances in the 3rd quarter that if we could run our offense well and take a good shot, we could've given them much more pressure. Instead our guards made some bad decision, shot the ball too early, too careless. Then Suns came back to make their shot, the game became a 1-possession game again.

After getting a comfortable lead, our players seems to be satisfied and become less aggressive. We have to stay aggressive all the time. Or we will pay for it in playoffs.

All in all, its a great game. TMac is godly and Yao is dominating offensively. I love this team!

the first and third options on this poll are the same thing. "could" win just means it's possible, not anything more. Yeah, anything is pretty much possible.

Anyway, the suns played great tonight - they are so good. The only thing they didn't do was their usual barrage of 3's. Maybe it had something to do with JVG closing that off and forcing them to make 2's. Not sure if one game can tell so much.

Seems that we also speeded up the offensive quite a bit even in the half court. JVG may be thinking if we can't slow the suns down, maybe we give them some of their own medicine.

Well - whatever happened, we won. Wonder if this is a sign of things to come against the suns - but we probably won't find out until next year considering we have to win two playoff series first and suns have to face SA in the 2nd round - and SA still is the favorite in my opinion.

We can beat them with or without HCA. T-Mac is our leader, and he doesn't shy off on the road. He's arguably better on the road.

This win was important because it shows we can beat anyone... literally. With this win, we've beaten every NBA team this year. NO SWEEPS!

But again, lets worry about Utah first and then the winner of Mavs and Warriors before the Suns. IMO, we won't have to worry about Phoenix anyway because the Spurs or Nuggets will beat them.
