The rational Rockets fan has won.

Like when Drexler said he thought the new uniforms were cool, Barkley said they were ugly.

if I had poll saying would you trade McHale for Popovich? you think it's a bunch of Spurs fans voting for Popovich?

I seriously dislike Cuban, I don't even like the way he looks, the way he talks. BUT, I have never cared for Les, and Cuban will throw money at any moving object or player. Cuban's willingness to do whatever it takes would pay dividends. I am still mad at Les over the Comcast deal. Really screwed the fans.

It's not so much for me what they have done playoff wise or roster wise, both are rich and will spend money for a winner when the opportunity arises. It really comes down to who I prefer on a personal level, and that person is Cuban. I still will always cheer for the Rockets over the Mavs.

Also, I am still mad at Les for getting into a pissing match with Chuck Watson and ruining any chance Houston had at getting a NHL team. Maybe there aren't many hockey fans here on this board but still love the sport.

    http://www.baconsports.com/10-worst-jerseys-nba-1990s/

A lot of teams change their jersey to try and change the public image of a team. Maybe even to help wash off a stigma of losing, see Broncos. Denver. 1998. When the Rockets changed their jerseys they were just a year or two removed from back to back titles and they went way in the wrong direction with this disaster. A cartoon rocket, blue backdrop with fading white pin stripes. Gross! The fact that the logo sits right on top of Chucks belly does not help.

so much truth man. I don't like Cuban (Mavs blah), but he'd be better for the Rockets... Les is good at the regular season and Vineyard stuff, you know where he's making his wine during the post season and watching the Mavs on TV... Cuban has a lot of fun and does a good job playing fantasy basketball with a real nba team.

Think of it this way, if Cuban was handed a winning championship team and Olajuwon, he wouldn't later re-up it with ****ing Matt Maloney (in 97).. How do you honestly expect to beat John Stockton with ****ty PG rotation.

Also, I think if Les owned the Mavs in 00, they'd only have won maybe 2 playoff rounds (so one more than the Rockets) haha. Also Houston probably would have 3 chips :) it was also a bit different back then with the whole FA thing.

Les basically was spoiled by Hakeem and probably doesn't give a **** since he won so early as an owner. It's tough watching a good regular season Rockets team stall out in the first round every year.

I see people mention that Hakeem was here before Leslie yet leave out the fact that Dirk was in Dallas before Mark. Shame on you.

Only star Cuban has ever had is Dirk who he inherited.

He then gave Dirk a paycut so he could max out Chandler Parsons.

No star wants to play for him.

I'm a diehard Rocket fan, but man, there's no way I'd put money on the current Rockets roster out lasting the Mavs in the post season. So if we're talking regular season sure... Houston is better. Mavs took SAS to 7 last year. Rockets almost went home in 5... Hopefully Harden can continue to play Jordan-like (or houston adds a good piece) because if not, Houston will be done after round one. I'd actually bet on that.

And Dirk will retire a Maverick and never get pissed off at the organization for not paying him in his final year and run off to Toronto.

who made 5 all star games and won an MVP after les bought the team.

Mark Cuban inherited 3 all star players (Michael Finley, Nash, and Dirk), who made 22 all star games, and won 3 MVPs after he bought the team.

I don't like how last year we didn't make adjustments til late against Aldridge.

This year we're shooting absolutely too many 3 pointers.

Les Alexander inherited Robert Horry and Sam Cassell, that's 6 more championships

    Otis Thorpe was an allstar

and Hakeem Olajuwon won back to back finals MVPs

Les has gone over the luxury tax once. Plus Les is one of the poorest owners in the NBA. Give me cuban and his money.

I will leave it to Morey and although I am sure Les is cheap I bet if Morey asked for more salary he could get it.

I have a new mission to support you in everything you do tinman but this Barkley love is making it hard. I hate Barkley so I will not address How I love that Les screwed his fatness out of millions of burritos and crack hoes.
