    congress will try to come up with a workaround, but right now it appears trump will go off to his Mar-A-Lago extended vacation while the government shuts down for Christmas...

    trump lies... about everything. The idea he would skip a three week vacation at Mar-A-Lago and all that golf to stay in DC? And work? Congress should simply wait wait him out.

    If Trump caves on this and doesn't get the wall funding, this will be his "read my lips" moment. He's got no choice but to keep the government shut down till the Democrats cave...even if it takes months.
