He has only one year contract left and his ability is not that bad. Since Pacers are looking to trade him, this is not a bad choice.

Yep, or see if we can get Sessions, or maybe Vspan, or could Ish Smith handle the backup role?

I guess we could wait to see if the Rockets match Lowry's offer.

We can just run Jermaine Taylor at PG.

    I was not serious. :)

Morey said in YoYo's interview that they're coming back, and it just takes time.
I trust his word, and I'm positive him and Les are gonna match.

Who needs TJ (although I really like the guy) when we already HAVE Klow7??? :p

Vspan just signed a pretty big deal with Olympiacos ;)

As for Sessions, he sucks, I don't want him. TJ Ford could be interesting.

so we dont want to pay kyle 6 mill, but are ok bringing in a back up who makes almost 9? I dont care if that's expiring, that's nuts..might as well match lowry and just roll with our current expirings, which are pretty significant

If I remember correctly, didn't Ford catch fire against us one game last year? He was making everything.

Not interested in a point guard that a team, desperately in need of a point guard, has been desperately trying to get rid of.

Damn TJ Ford, whats wrong with matching Kyle Lowry's contract! Man the kid is worth 6 million a year, TJ had a good game against us but that aint sh%&! Kyle is capable of running this team better than Brooks, the man is worth every bit of that 24 million an Morey would be a damn fool not to resign him!

The only PG's available that I would interested in, order are:

    1. Lowry: Though not sure about that contract. If Morey thinks Yao is ready, and there is a legit chance to win next year, then you have to match. If not, then you do not match a $6 mill contract for a back up PG.

    2. Travis Diener: He played very well when he was with Indiana. He got hurt last year with a Toe injury, which has supposedly healed. He is not a great defender, but decent vision, and started to show 3 pt range during his last full year. It depends on what you want. He is sort of a bigger, not as efficient AB. If you want variety, you choose someone else.

    3. Will Bynum: He is young, not a great shooter, though can score some. Decent defender, but not a lot of size. I would see him as potentially a slightly worse version of Lowry. He is also restricted, which means Detroit can match our offer.

    4. Shaun Livingston: Showed some promise with Washington last year, though that could be because there was no one else on that team. With his length and size, he can easily guard most PG's (except the Speedy Gonzalez type).

    5. Anthony Carter: He is old. He will be overmatched with small, fast PG's. He is not a great scorer. He is wily though and a decent defender.
