I'll go first: Besides his presence, the most important benefit we get is his passing. Martin should benefit greatly from it and now that McHale has the personnel it's time to see if they'll run Adelman's offense more. He is a plus on offense over Dalembert and a plus on Hill on defense. For our playoffs hopes and beyond, I think it's solid.
Rebound rebound rebound and affect shots in the paint. That's about it. I really hope he doesn't have the ball to score considering our wing players + scola can take care of the offense.
The Rockets will have someone full-sized (and experienced at playing C) to turn to when Dalembert is in foul trouble or ineffective. Camby = Dikembe Mutombo without the Accent.
Give us a back up C who can rebound for our last games. His contract is up after this season so I'm not sure if we'll be seeing him next year lol.
Other than being a plus defender and rebounder, Camby is a very good passer for a center. Something we've been sorely missing this year after losing Chuck Hayes and Brad Miller. Hopefully that will help our offensive flow a bit more.
He plays when Dalembert is in foul trouble, or simply not bringing it as he's want to do. Otherwise about a 23 Mins when Dally isn't on the floor. We now will always have an NBA center on the floor.
I meant to say our hopes of making the playoffs (which look better by the hour) and having some kind of success once we get there.
If Camby really like it here, I wouldn't mind having him stay till he's ready to go to the junkyard just like Mutombo did.
Camby will be lightning in a bottle for our bench. If we don't trade Martin, it's time to bring him off the bench with Dragic so they can leak out and go crazy on the offensive end while Camby eats up the defensive boards.
Well they have size and I wanted size for their team. I guess its time to revisit the pillow for my afternoon nap now. Morey will probably be sleeping too soon so he can get ready for the huge Marcus Camby press conference.
