Fatty, of course I didn't "change" the terms of the bet. The bet was a simple, straight up self-ban. You asked for special terms and I said no. That's fine though. No hard feelings. And I will miss you while you're gone.

Before you go though, please entertain us by predicting the states McCain will win with.

Hell, you can even call me myopic while you're at it!

    All of them.

BTW, is your play still running? I may see if the lady is up for it.

It's obvious that this is fatty's final FLAIL. He doesn't believe McCain will win.

    Awesome.

Yes, it is. One more weekend. This Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Hope you can make it.

Thanks for the opportunity to plug it. Here are some short clips from the three reviews:

    Houston Chronicle
Bizarre... hilarious... inspired... a pivotal achievement... a letter-perfect premiere.

Paul Locklear's uncannily apt Dubya emerges as funnier than the genuine article... Yet his portrayal is not a mockery... He acts an earnest, struggling human being, the existential hero of his own absurd saga.

The Strangerer may be Theatre of the Absurd – yet it's also the funniest, most acutely meaningful example of the genre I've experienced in ages.

    Houston Press
    Catastrophic Theatre's [The Strangerer] is a must-see.

Locklear gives the performance of his life... giving Bush a comprehensible, maddening humanity... Just as spot-on are Judge and Schulze.

Matter of fact, the entire production is incredibly realized. "Perfectness," as W. might say.

    Culture Vulture
Hysterically funny in its pitch perfectness... It's funny and horrific, brutal and absurd, mostly all at once.

Maher's language is rich, deliciously thick and peppered with the kind of Bushisms that the late Molly Ivins would cherish.

Judge, Locklear and Schulze deliver pointed, spot-on performances. The production is the sharpest yet from this newish troupe.

    Elections ain't worth betting on.

That being said....I just got back from the liquor store where I bought my Director's bottle of 18 y.o. Glenlivet to pay off our bet from Saturday night's UT-TTU game.

Good news is....Costco Liquor at the new Costco on Richmond had it for $5 less than Specs! :D

    I don't get these bets.

Why would you want someone to be banned from this forum? (other than the obvious uncivil, destructive trolls)

Half of the fun is seeing people's delusional reactions when reality smacks them in the face.

    I agree.

I want to revel in each agaonizing twisted St. Vitus dance of reactionary despair that basso, Owned Man Crock, T_J, ROXRAN, FFB, and the rest will be experiencing in the first 100 days of the Obama administration.

In socialist circles, we will call it, "The 100 Glorious Days of Transformation."

At least you commies are being honest about it now! Luckily, I have stockpiled many weapons before you try to move your tanks into my conservative enclave (of San Francisco).

    We can finally reveal ourselves.

San Francisco will become the new Guantanamo for re-education of those unwilling to assimilate into the glorious transformation.

He's still waiting on all the information to come in before he makes a decision. I expect him to take the bet at 11:59 pm.

    Not.

    I Agree

What they *should* have setup was another nick-change thing.

the nick one was great, but probably more problematic to put in place since it requires Crew intervention, the sig bets can also be fun.

If Barack loses I will be shocked.

He's not my guy, but I will support him when tomorrow he is elected to be the new authority of our great country.

Unity is what we need, there will be plenty of bitter people tomorrow night.

I won't be one of them.
