Yes, yes, yes, yes, no, maybe, maybe, yes, maybe, no, maybe, no, yes, maybe, maybe, yes, no, maybe, no, no Just my opinion
I doubt Lin has much chance of being Steve Nash myself, but nobody thought the Steve Nash in 99-00 would become the Steve Nash that we now know him as. In 99-00, Nash's 4th season, he was averaging 27min, 8.6ppt and 4.9 assists. In 98-99, Nash's 3rd season, he was average 32min, 7.9pts, 5.5 assists, AND 36.3% FG percentage (NOT 3pt %).
Most (maybe all) of the original post is lifted from various articles on Bleacher Reports: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1255452-jeremy-lin-why-his-defense-will-be-his-undoing http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1073171-jeremy-lin-breaking-down-the-fact-and-fiction-of-ny-knicks-sensation/page/3 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1071977-linsanity-is-insanity-reasons-why-jeremy-lin-is-overrated And those matches came from the first three bits of his text that I googled. I would expect the entire post to be someone else's words. Don't you have anything at all original to say, Sigmoidoscope? Time to ban this troll forever.
If I remember correctly being an All-star means you're popular NOT because you're a franchise player. I recall vaguely one or two of the last years Tracy McGrady was voted in, he really didn't deserve to get in his last year. He was what injured for most of the season? I doubt he'll be our franchise player but he has been able to make a bad Knicks team a serviceable Knicks team, granted he was on a roll. We'll see how he does on the Rockets but for now I reserve my *Steve Nash* comparisons.
