Just finished by FFL Draft with my son's league. This is our 15th year and I'm always drafting a few Texans. This year it was just Dameon Pierce, Dalton Schultz and Tank Dell. Ours is a bidding draft, so I had to fight for Pierce. Schultz wasn't too tough, but I did have a minor bidding challenge for Tank late in the draft. He was a must have for me. My son drafted CJ as his 3rd QB, and Nico and Singletary were also drafted in our 10 team league. So who did ya'll draft?
I have Pierce and Tank both have breakout potential imo -- we'll have to wait a bit with Tank, but I expect some splash plays early.
Took Pierce in the 3rd. Would have gone after Schultz, but had to many players on the bye week of the Texans. I never want to drop someone except defense due to the bye's
I have pierce and fairbarn as starters. Dalton as a backup. Texans D as my last pick just for ***** and giggles. 49ers are starting D. After a two year hiatus I can again enjoy having an additional rooting interest while watching the Texans play.
Pierce is the only draftable player in a real league Shultz can be in the tight end streamer rotation Could take a flyer on Tank in deeper leagues but I didn’t touch any of them.
Singletary as my 4th RB. Hopefully as a bye week filler at best. Pierce is the man, but I can see a 60/40 split between the two. Unless the Texans are in the hunt for the playoffs I see no reason for them to over use Pierce. Tank and CJ with my last two picks in my keeper.
I’m really hurting at flex with DJ Dillon, Odell Beckham, Tank, and Paris Campbell to choose from. Any recommendations? Are they hiding Tank as secret weapon for today? He certainly didn’t see much action after an incredible start to pre-season.
