which song do they play when they're running out from the tunnel? I've wanted that one, but have no clue what it is.

Is that Clay Walker song a permanent "fight song"? I can't stand it. It's not exactly rousing anyone to battle. In fact it's always sounded kinda sissy to me.

    really? it's grown on me.

i never thought the oilers fight song was a good fight song...but i still loved it because it reminded me of being at those games.

Max do you have the record of the Oiler fight song? I downloaded it using Kazaa and burned it to CD. Now whenever I have Oilers flashbacks (the good ones) I put that CD on, kick back and let the memories flow.

"Look out football here we come, Houston Oilers # 1..."

How sad is it when you remember the words:

Houston has the Oilers, the greatest football team
We take the ball from goal to goal like no one's ever seen
Were in the air and on the ground, always in control
And when you talk the Oilers, your talkin Super Bowl

    Cause were the .....Houston Oilers
    Houston Oilers
    Houston Oilers #1

    Cause were the .....Houston Oilers
    Houston Oilers
    Houston Oilers #1

    Weve got the offense
    Weve got the defender
We give the other teams no hope

    Cause were the ....Houston Oilers
    Houston Oilers
You know were gonna hold the rope

5, 7, 8 were the best from the lone star state

That Clay Walker song is so damn stupid, I'm sorry for being harsh, but if that's that knock off of the MNF song, then that song is weak. Where is his artistic integrity. That MNF song has been around for more than 10 years. If you are going to copy something, copy something up to date.

why? because in one line he says, "are you ready for some football?" do you know how many times we heard that before the season kicked off in 2002? there were shirts printed up with that..."Houston - Are you Ready for Some Football?"

believe me...it's not stupider than the oilers fight song...which by the way, is still the dolpins fight song as well.

yeah..i downloaded it a while back...break it out from time to time.

i like pulltab's song where it starts out with the beginning of the oiler fight song and then says..."that's played out!" then my son starts dancing around screaming "don't mess with the texans" making the hook 'em horns sign! that's entertainment! :)

The whole song is a knock off of the MNF song, and not a good one. It's weak, if you are going to hire a an artist like Clay Walker you should expect better.

it's just a modern country-rock song...i guess in that way it sounds like the MNF song...but i don't think "all my rowdy friends" sounds anything like the texans fight song past the style of music itself.

I understand that music is subjective, so if you like it that's fine. But my only other problem with the song is, that it isn't a true fight song. The old Oilers song was more like a school fight song, something that everyone in the stands could sing together. I can't imagine everyone trying to sing that Clay Walker song, I can't even pick up on all the words.

He should have just written, "Who let the Texans Out, Moo, Moo, Moo, Moo," J/K

Yeah but does your son know what to say when the ref makes a bad call? My 2-year old does.

The Answer: "That's total crap" :D
