I wonder who out of the free agents listed has interest in Houston outside of CP3? We're flirting but who's flirting back?

It won't make us look bad, trading Anderson right after signing him?

The way I see it, emphasis on the I.... assuming neither Harden & Gordon regress or get injured & the Warriors stay healthy, these are the scenarios from most convenient to less convenient:

    1. Harden, Gordon, CP3, Griffin: we can probably compete with the Warriors (ideal based on talent & star power but this equation has the 2nd most injury risk)

    2. Harden, Gordon, CP3, Millsap: we may compete with the Warriors (not as risky as the first equation but Griffin is believed to be more talented than Millsap [may be debatable])

    3. Harden, Gordon, Lowry, Griffin: we may compete with the Warriors (the riskiest combo based on injury, could work but not probable)

    4. Harden, Gordon, Lowry, Millsap: we won't compete against the Warriors (still a great team, not enough talent unless one of the 3 takes a leap from all star to superstar)

Again, really don't want a Blake Griffin personality in our locker room.

Millsap should be priority #1, and he should be the easiest to get. We need a big man who plays smart defense.

CP3? Lowry? We want to move Harden back to the 2 after having one of the greatest statistical seasons in the history of the game? Ok...We already have a PG.

I'd much rather have George or Hayward or Butler... Someone who doesn't need to have the ball in their hand to be effective.

So...hypothetically choosing two of the four, Paul & Millsap?

Both 32, older than the other two but...

Ideally this. They need that 2nd guy/scorer.

Kinda interesting that they're interested in bringing in another (point) guard???

Kyle Lowry, I don't know about him, especially in the postseason. Say what you want about Harden shrinking, this guy is just as bad, if not worse.
Griffin & CP3 again, I feel like the Clippers tried that already. What, you're gonna trade Capela for Jordan next? And Griffin's health. Ehhh...

To me Millsap would make us better than Blake, Blake has more talent and he's the better offensive player overall, but he would suck as a 5 when we would go small, i'm not even sure he's a better defender than Anderson...Millsap is definitely a better defender, would be able to play the 5 and he would bring some toughness which is something we definitely lack, Blake is super soft, Draymond bully him every time.

As much as I'd love to have all these big names, most of them are FAs with the exception being Griffin. So even if we do clear cap space by shipping nearly all of our productive players, there are no guarantees these players sign.

We FINALLY have a team that is tailored to Harden, and young developing players to boot. What is the point of going all in if the Warriors are going to win anyway?

BTW I'm glad I didn't see EG on that list... he was great last year and is an underrated defender
