Houston Clubs That Play House Music...

I'll third that, although I haven't lived in HTown in going on 9 years.

 

77002.com is pretty much the only website that tells when DJs are coming through in Houston, although when Tiesto came in October I kept hearing ads for it on 95.7.

 

Houston doesn't have a great house scene. Scene here is mostly progressive, but house has become more acceptable since the years when trance was popular (circa 1998-2002).


www.77002.com usually has EDM talent come through (not as much house).
There used to be a monthly House only party called RENT but it's pretty much dead. "Little Martin" is a well known house dj in Houston, you may want to look him up and see if he's a resident anywhere.

Also I don't party much anymore so I may be unaware of anything new brewing in the past 3 years. Do check out "Rich's" as they do generally host EDM parties. Not sure about their local residents but back in the day this used to be a gay club (fyi).

 

forgot to mention Davenport Lounge. Googled it and apparently Wed's is House night; call first though.
