The FBI and Bomb Squad were sent into the Coply-Westin hotel in Boston...they apparently have now arrested someone...don't know any more.
Law enforcement officials in Boston and Vero Beach, Florida, took several people into custody, sources told CNN. Heavily armed tactical police entered the Westin Hotel in Boston and went to the upper floors of the hotel on an operation believed connected to Tuesday's terrorist attacks. At least four ambulances were on the scene. • The Taliban, who control 90 percent of Afghanistan, appeal to the United States to refrain from attacking their country. • The owners of a flight school in Venice, Florida, say that the FBI is investigating whether two former students were involved in the attacks.
They believe there's a bomb. They took dogs in and the dogs found something, evidently. They evacuated Coply Place entirely. There's a crowd of idiots waiting outside, though. My fiance worked there, so I was extremely glad when she got home. Incidentally, the Fairmont-Copley Plaza is owned by a member of the Saudi royal family. And most of them HATE bin Laden.
Three people have been arrested... but only because their credit cards purchased the tickets. Either these people were fools, or they were used.
At least 10 FBI agents searched two houses in Vero Beach and took one man into custody for questioning. The immediate neighborhood was temporarily evacuated after FBI agents knocked on doors and said there was a bomb scare. Residents have been allowed back in their homes. Little information was available after the nature of the search. The son-in law of the owner of one of the houses said a Middle Eastern family lived in the house. The son-in-law said he thought the man was enrolled in a nearby aviation safety school because he wore the uniform of the Piper school. The family, the son-in-law said, moved out over the weekend. The wife, he said, dressed very modestly in Middle Eastern style clothing, covering her face and hair. FBI took into custody for questioning one person who rented one of the two houses. He is believed to be an acquaintance of another man tied to the flight safety school.
Not being reported on CNN, so I thought I'd mention it. The NBC affiliate in Boston is reporting that more terrorists lodgings were found in Newton, MA which is a suburb of Boston. Nobody was found, but some Islamic language pamphlets were.
