I'm British and all the media and reaction here has been hugely positive for the opening ceremony. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought it was boring and a bit embarassing lol. Thought the whole world had gone mad, but apparently it's just our country. Anyway, now the important bit. Our very own Jessica Ennis:
OK so she's not an Olympian this time, but she does an Olympic sport and she's an anomaly, an attractive powerlifter. Samantha Wright. USA USA!
Half of the Croatia team is hot. They actually made the a close game for most of the match against the U.S. but the us girls pulled away at the end. The girl on the bottom end is mine. No touch!
Very nice! I like. Some great additions to the thread- Ana I, the Croatian B-ball chick, Samantha Wright and this lovely handball player from Norway.(So many hand-ball jokes one could make:grin
I don't know that citizenship is like a drivers license in that some places allow you to keep more than one. Either that, or certain countries understand that their best and brightest will emigrate to the West anyways, so they're not very obnoxious about letting them come back and/or publicize their home country. Furthermore it seems like being born or having grown up somewhere is sufficient enough for some National Olympic Committees.
I love women that lift and like you said there's definitely something about this one... :grin:Maybe its the eyes.
