    Hilton Valentine, one of the original Animals, passed away today. He created one of those guitar riffs at the beginning of House of the Rising Sun that make a song instantly recognizable. The song below seems appropriate. Rest in peace.

    I like that they stopped off at a studio during a tour, had to talk the producer into recording it...15 minutes and 1 take later it was ready to print.

    I also learned today that Andy Griffith, yes that Andy Griffith, recorded a version of this in 1959.
