The NBA should be embarrassed that the high school and college dunk contests are consistently better than their own.

I said the same thing until Gerald Green and James White were in the NBA Slam Dunk contest and they both produce Dog Diarrhea and became one of the worst Slam Dunk contest ever. The NBA is the big stage.

Dunking might not have that much technical or strategic value beyond a certain point.

The first dunk at 5 seconds was the best if he completed it. It went between his legs twice in the air.

He's looking down at the rim when he dunks.

They would have showed it if he made it.

    D. Jones is like a new and improved James White -- all his dunks are next level.

    Probably because he didn't complete.

Dunks were awesome, but like most dunk contests, it was probably more boring in person because you know they took a million attempts between them to convert those. Dunk contests always look better as edited highlight reels.

The kid that won(Derrick Jones) is 6'7" and you find highlights during games where his head almost touching the rim on dunk in traffic. The kid has crazy hops because he only weighs 180 pounds.

You know he must have made it in practice for him to even attempt it. Someone needs to tell him to post a video of him completing it on twitter. It would go crazy viral.
