good for heat, not for kings. do the kings realize who they added in the offseason? they're gonna need a lot more than a decent starting pg to turn their team around. heat get a chance to be competitive and make the playoffs, while the kings get worse and another weak lottery pick.

Dragic is the best player in the deal by a long shot, so I actually give the edge to the Kings. Just bonus for them that they get to rid themselves of Rudy Gay too.

I know they have to get rid of him eventually, but in fairness Rudy Gay has been productive with the Kings (and he's no long overpaid).

That said, this looks an awful lot like an Eddie Jones 2.0 situation for Miami.

Saying this in the other thread yesterday...Gay and Collison are both expiring, they can't wait to leave SacTown, and they'll probably ask for a lot of money next summer...i don't really think they have that much value, certainly not enough to trade for a starter with a good contract like Dragic....also, Miami has no chance to compete this season, if they've any interest in Gay they can just wait to sign him for free in free agency, and there's no reason for them to want Collison.

The Rockets aren't likely to get in on Dragic... but imagine a 1-4 of Harden, Gordon and Dragic..... what a wonderful disaster that would be. Maybe the 4-5 for the Rockets could just stay on the bench to open up room for Harden to drive to the basket. A lot of 190-175 losses.
